About Silver Towers
Silver Towers is a 1.2 million-square foot, 1,359-unit rental apartment community that includes two 60-story towers connected by a six-story base and a 12-story inclusionary rental building. A portion of the units in the north tower are dedicated to Silver Suites Residences, which are the furnished units designated for corporate tenants, who have access to all amenities, including daily shuttle bus to numerous locations in Manhattan, as well as hotel-like services. The property includes over 20,000 square feet of retail space and a 194-car parking garage.
Why Silver Towers?
Silver Towers is a contemporary twist on the classical elegance of the New York high rise. Entering the towers from 42nd Street, residents experience the tranquil illuminated courtyard and artistic glass pavilion created by James Carpenter Design Associates. Recreating natural stillness in an urban environment, residents can also unwind in the adjacent quarter-acre public park with willow and linden groves, designed by Thomas Balsley Associates. The park includes a children’s area with a bronze playground sculpture by artist Tom Otterness, dog run, interactive mist fountain, and lounging and picnicking areas.
